COURSES
ICBIE Courses follow the Brazilian academic calendar, beginning March 1 and ending December 15. The core curriculum, taught by the permanent ICBIE faculty, consists of Italian language (three levels), computer science (three different courses), and hapkido. Other courses, beyond this core, will be offered by volunteer instructors, according to their availability.
First Trimester Core (March-May 2008):
- Italian language (beginning, intermediate and advanced) 3 month courses, 3 hours per week, for a total of 36 hours Prof. Marlene Rosa de Souza, Director of Language Studies

Saturday Courses - 36 hours, 2 1/2 hour courses, 01/03/2008 - 14/06/2008
Beginning Italian 9:00 - 11:30; Intermediate Italian 15:00 - 17:30

Foundation course - 3 months, 3 hours per week, for a total of 36 hours, 04/03/2008 - 29/05/2008 Tuesday and Thursday 15:00 - 16:30 (Afternoon course) Tuesday and Thursday 19:30 - 21:00 (Evening course)
Keyboard skills - 2 months, 3 hours per week, for a total of 24 hours, 03/03/2008 - 28/04/2008 Monday and Wednesday 19:30 - 21:00
Computer Maintenance and Configuration - 3 months, 3 hours per week, for a total of 36 hours, 01/03/2008 - 24/05/2008 Saturday 15:00 - 18:00
Computer courses are offered in collaboration with ARCI Solidarity of Reggio Emilia, Italy, whose contributions help with the salaries of the instructors.
